A Little Bit About Brian...
Brian Goodwin has grown up around sports – he learned karate when he was younger and also has two uncles who played college ball, one was a football star and the other a baseball standout. So far, Brian is following in both of their footsteps as a two-sport star at Rocky Mount High. When he's not returning punts and kickoffs on the field for touchdowns or making plays on the diamond, Brian spends his time playing video games or hanging out with friends. He also likes watching his favorite TV shows – The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Spongebob Squarepants.
Role models...
In professional baseball, Brian looks up to Ken Griffey, Jr. because he is always aggressive on both offense and defense and seems to have a great personality. For all else, Brian looks up to his parents and his sister because they have all been influential and very supportive throughout his entire career.
Catch him before a game and you'll find him...
have a rubber band on his wrist and tape on his fingers, his pre-game rituals.
In a few years, you might find him...
playing baseball at the University of North Carolina where Brian has verbally committed to attend school.
Hit PLAY on his MP3 player and you might hear...
some rap, hip-hop or R & B, most likely it will be T.I. or Young Jeezy.
He's kind of a big deal...
