Narron is a 6-3, 187 lb switch-hitting shortstop from North Carolina and the son of former Major League catcher and manager Jerry Narron. Not surprisingly given his baseball background, Narron has very smooth and polished actions both at the plate and defensively. He is a better hitter at present from the left side, with a grade better bat speed and more smoothness to his swing, although he shows more lift to his swing right handed. Narron's has sure hands at shortstop and good carry on his throws, although there is a chance he could end up at third base as he gets bigger and stronger. He has made a verbal commitment to the University of North Carolina. His overall package and hitting ability should create a lot of scouting attention.
