Lipka is a strong athletically built 6-1, 192 lb middle infielder from North Texas. He has outstanding straight ahead speed at 6.35 in the 60 and can impact the game on the bases. Lipka hits from very open stance from the right side and has a strong, fast line drive swing. He should fill up a box score with doubles and triples with his approach and speed and will have the ability to lift the ball. Defensively, Lipka has solid average MLB level arm strength and his speed and quickness is an obvious plus. His eventual position could be anywhere in the middle of the field. Lipka plays extremely hard. His tools and makeup will create serious draft interest.
