Coach Tim Saunders has coached baseball for a total of 29 years, of which 26 have been as Head Coach at the high school level. His teams have tallied 429 wins with just 278 losses. Most of his wins (393) have come during his 22 year tenure at Dublin Coffman High School in Dublin, OH. Under his direction, The Shamrocks brought home the State title in 2001. Along with that State Championship, they have collected 11 League, 12 Sectional, 5 District and 2 Regional Championships. The Division 1 Ohio State Championship is sought after by 187 teams and is one of the largest divisions in the country.

Coach Saunders was recognized as the ABCA District 4, the Columbus Dispatch and the Ohio Coaches Association, Coach of the Year in 2000. That same year, he was given the opportunity to serve as Head Coach for the USA Youth National Team. In 2001, Tim was recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the Development Coach of the Year for his efforts in leading that team to a Gold Medal at the Pan American Games.

Coach Saunders commitment to the development of youth baseball is evidenced by the fact that he has served as President of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association and the Central District Baseball Coaches Association. Currently he holds the office of Vice-President and Secretary of the Central District Baseball Coaches Association.
