Off the field with Scott...
In his spare time, Scott enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music, playing video games and playing ping-pong. In his community, Scott volunteers with Challenger Baseball – a Little League baseball program that allows boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the game of baseball. Scott encourages the kids he works with to bat and make plays on their own. At San Ramon Valley High, Scott is in the Leadership Student Government Class and also participates in rallies and dodge ball.
Role models...
Scott's Role model is Greg Maddux – he admires his work ethic and discipline, and how he's stayed clean in the steroid era. He also admires his father for showing him the importance of establishing a good work ethic and having a healthy balance between friends, school, sports and community.
Catch him before a game and you'll find him...
eating a cheeseburger – when he eats one for lunch, he finds that he pitches well later that day.
Hit PLAY on his MP3 player and you might hear...
rock and roll and Linkin Park.
In a few years you might find him...
playing baseball and attending college at UCLA.
He's kind of a big deal...
