Griffin is a lean and projectable 6-4, 205 lb outfielder from Georgia with tools across the board and some polish to his game. He is a 6.5 or better runner with a strong outfield arm but has also played first base and has natural defensive actions at that position as well. Griffin hits from a tall stance at the plate with very good hitting rhythm and big league bat speed. He has an advanced ability to wait back on off speed pitches but can turn on the ball with power and lift as well. His build and loose, easy actions show that he should continue developing his tools with physical maturity. Griffin should draw a lot of attention from MLB scouts.
